Really nice looking hotel. Outdated, scary elevators that must be used to get to the parking area. Terribly annoying construction outside started early and didn't stop. Awesome pool top area with great views of downtown. Update the garage elevators and nix the construction and all is peachy.

Disliked: Loud construction noise started at 8am! Right outside room. Pretty annoying.

Great location; friendliness; handicapped showers were terrible - floors would get very slippery; more comfortable beds; need benches outside for people to sit. But the staff was the best - fun and very welcoming. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable, if a little small. Location was perfect - right downtown and walkable to everything we wanted.
Disliked: Reception staff was friendly but fairly incompetent - insisted we booked a room with a king bed instead of two queens, until I pulled up my confirmation email and proved he was wrong. Then he said I told him the wrong name for the reservation and he was looking at someone else. We did NOT get the adjoining or nearby rooms we had requested, even though I made the request a month in advance and then confirmed it the day before. Having premium Marriott status got us absolutely nothing - no late checkout, no breakfast, no benefit at all. Valet parking was $50 (!!) but there are plenty of inexpensive nearby lots that you can book if you don't mind walking a couple blocks.

Hot and sweaty, not quiet

Liked: The location was great. We were able to walk to many different restaurants in downtown Indy.
Disliked: The air conditioning was turned off because mid-April is not a “summer month”- yet it was 75 degrees outside. Our room looked onto the pool deck which acted like a giant reflector for the sun right into our room. The window was hot to the touch and the interior of our room was no lower than 75 degrees our entire trip, which made for very unpleasant and sweaty sleeping conditions.Furthermore, the hotel staff began setting up an event outside our window at 7:00am- moving furniture and causing a thunderous, disturbing noise very early in the morning.Having 2 hot/disturbed nights of sleep certainly hindered our enjoyment of the hotel and our trip in general.
