Great facilities and exceptional service...

Liked: Charming and good value
Disliked: Breakfast start is a little late at 7am

We stayed as we played...

Liked: The public areas were good and had obviously been updated and modernised
Disliked: The bedroom and bathroom were basic and I felt pricy The staff were pleasant enough but service was slow and after playing golf certain cold drinks were not available as they had noLemonade which is quite a stable drink

Family one night stay.

Liked: Swimming and spa, food is excellent and bedrooms are comfortable. Lower level room was brilliant much easier.

Leisurely break near Leyland.

Liked: The Leisure facilities were very good - nice pool and clean changing rooms.Breakfast menu had good options Formal reception rooms are great for a weddingOn a sunny day the setting is lovely with the golf links stretching as far as the eye can see.
Disliked: We were meant to have a superior room but that was not available so we had the standard - I hope we see a refund for this. We were offered a free drink but did not take them up on it as came back late.Breakfast buffet section could have had more items while the coffee machine was playing up so quite a few problems with hot drinks.The room is a little dated and really needs blackout blinds as I was up with the dawn at 5.30amTV was very small so the up-coming renovations ,ay sort this out.

Disliked: We were in an annexe and away from hotel facilities

Liked: Location lovely. Staff lovely. Breakfast lovely.
Disliked: No info in room about facility's available. Water in sink came out very slow. Paid extra for spacious room could have done with small fridge. Rooms need updating.
