Pleasant overnight stay in Georgian...

Liked: Hotel set in pleasant grounds with golf course. Lovely old building. That did mean no lift. Room was nice with good size bath and shower. Bathroom seemed to have been recently done. No way of opening the window or A/C so got a little stuffy. TV was fine for me but a small screen which some might struggle to see well. Bed comfortable though I was over the bar so some noise and I could hear the music - it would depend on what room you had.Breakfast was set in the restaurant with good views of the grounds. Good selection for continental breakfast and cooked breakfast to order. Large car park. Though I didn't use it I was given free access to the leisure facilities which is a plus.
Disliked: I would have liked a way to open the window - though thankfully the weather was not too hot. Toilet seat was loose. Location is close the M6 - about 5-10 mins drive but not the nearest hotel.

Disliked: Unusual bedroom decor, room locks were terrible, worlds worst creeky floorboards

Disliked: The rooms are so outdated beds are small curtains old and furnishings belong in the bin sorry hated the room and was so uncomfortable and hot with no air conditioning
