Very good

Liked: The breakfast was nice though it was very busy and therefore slow.
Disliked: The room was a bit dingy.

Rescued by the red squirrels

Liked: An imposing building set in fantastic grounds with a resident population of red squirrels.
Disliked: The website boasts of bar meals served until 10pm but we arrived at 8 and they had stopped serving. We were given a bowl of chips to share.

Liked: The setting is unique. The staff are superb,friendly ,helpful and professional. The food is very good. Fresh ingredients well cooked and presented.
Disliked: Pillows needed replacing.
