Good

Liked: Close to centre 15 mins walk. Several clubs close by.Lounge available and small kitchen
Disliked: Kitchen could be better stocked and if only the cooker hood vented to the outside instead of just circulating the air it would make it much more pleasant. Staff labour manually against some antisocial guests and clean up after them

Pleasant

Liked: Locality.
Disliked: You can buy towels in city center for 1.8£. This rentning is a joke.

Fantastic place to stay

Liked: Fantastic loft room. The best one we've ever stayed in. Close to the canal, to the centre but situated in a quiet area (apart from trains right opposite). From the little we saw of Birmingham, we liked this area to most.
Disliked: Not being able to open more than 2 top windows. Someone's hair all over the floor by the armchairs. No bin liners.

Very good

Liked: Location was good and pretty quiet despite having the train station on the other side of the street.Bed was comfortable and staff was helpful.
Disliked: The light in the bathroom has a sensor so when you go in the middle of the night it startles you awake. The windows don't open so there's no airflow.

Good

Liked: For me one night staying it worth the price I spent.
Disliked: Unfortunately I had the bad luck of having three people inside the bedroom snoring (really snoring) apart from this (these things happen and is not the hostel fault), I found the hostel a little noisy. The bathroom inside the bedroom was on maintenance and I had to use one quite far from the bedroom. I personally don’t recommend to take the breakfast.

Clean accommodation in a historic...

Liked: I went out for breakfast. The location was excellent - near a good café/coffee shop in beautiful St. Paul's Square and right beside the St. Paul's tram stop. The area is peaceful and quiet.
Disliked: A mistake was made over the allocation of my room but this was sorted out straight away.
