Liked: Staff was very friendly and helped us with our wishes. Very comfortable stay in a good location. Breakfast was so good too, we liked the waffles :)

Disliked: I’m not usually the type to complain just for the sake of it, but I seriously want to warn others about the standard at this Scandic hotel. I’ve never experienced anything like it, and I’m otherwise used to staying at Scandic hotels all across Europe.I was here for work, and everything important in that context failed to meet acceptable standards:•The room was cold with no way to adjust the temperature, which resulted in poor sleep.•The internet was slow.•No ChromeCast functionality.•The fridge didn’t work.•Arrogant staff.•Poor and expensive parking options in nearby parking garages (the hotel doesn’t have parking, but of course that’s something you know in advance).SEVERAL OF THESE ISSUES DATE BACK TO 2023, as I can see in other reviews where the hotel promises to fix them, yet here in 2025, nothing has changed.When I first complained to the staff (in the middle of the night), they promised things would be better the next day — but nothing happened. Then I spoke to another employee who promised a free dinner or some form of compensation. I never received anything — just empty promises.When I complained again to a different staff member, she practically mocked me for raising concerns and only addressed the broken fridge (which was the least of the problems) — and that’s the only thing they actually fixed. They replaced the fridge with a new one. Wow. But what’s the point when I can’t sleep or use the internet?

Location for the train station...

Liked: Great location for the train station - I used the hotel as an overnight stop between flights. The town is quite nice to walk around and the hotel well placed for the train station.
