Liked: Amazing location!Once upgraded room was beautiful!Rachel on reception went above and beyond!!!
Disliked: Fans in bathroom need upgrading as neither room we were in had a good extractor fan Needs air con in roomsNeeds air con in the main dining hallBalconies need an overall redecor Shower hook was fitted upside down in room 321

Liked: Very warm and friendly staff.
Disliked: Some of the corridors etc a little run down? Can’t say this bothered me much!

Pleasant but not great.

Liked: Nice staff and location.
Disliked: Old fashioned and in need of modernisation. Full of an older demographic who probably remember the hotel in its heyday. Unlike many hotels it hasn't moved on, maybe due to the owner having other plans for the site. Breakfast was the poorest experienced in a good class hotel and not as good as a Premier Inn.

Very good

Liked: The staff were very helpful and chatty, the location was great, a big bedroom and very clean. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or sauna but looked good.
Disliked: The hotel was a bit dated in need of a face lift.We found the bed uncomfortable and furniture needs to be changed

Dated hotel in prime position...

Liked: Perfect beach front location.
Disliked: So dated not sure how they get away with charging the money they do for such poor facilities. Breakfast was also awful, couldnt eat it but probably get away with it because of the clientele. Felt like i was an extra on cocoon. Staff nice enough but seem disinterested and hid away from helping or serving you.

Good... would stay there again

Liked: Fabulous location, rooms clean and comfortable.The building is old, but well maintained.
Disliked: Water pressure in the 3rd floor room shower is 'okay', but a little higher pressure would be welcome

Fantastic staff & location -...

Liked: Staff & location are amazing - right on the beach and near a good watersports centre. The main areas of the hotel are fine (bar & restaurant etc)
Disliked: My room was very tired. Shower was awful, i thought shower curtains were a thing of the past and the shower itself was very old and difficult to operate at the desired temperature - the bath plug was broken, causing the bath to fill up. Toilet wouldn't flush unless you pushed it several times. I suspect i was unlucky with the room i was allocated - certainly not worth £150 p/n - although, tbh - most would pay that just for the location tbh.
