"Sanctuary" is the Perfect Name!

Liked: Entering the property, we forgot we were smack in the middle of the city. The lobby is calm, dark, and beautifully scented—such a contrast from the busy streets outside. Our room was smaller than some we’ve had elsewhere in NY, but smartly designed so it never felt cramped. The staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and consistent from the doorman to housekeeping. I’ve already recommended this hotel to a friend and would happily stay again!

Disliked: The, pay extra for breakfast was bagels and cream cheese, croissants, coffee. The food in the rooftop restaurant was mediocre.

Liked: Location is excellent, hotel was clean and well appointed, staff were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast had very little options for those who should avoid bread or grains (diabetics).
