Disliked: The lights in the room did not work. I requested a quiet room, but was on the 8th floor directly below a rooftop bar and directly adjacent to the stairway leading to it. On checking in, the card reader did not work, and I had to go through three different cards before the front desk changed machines. .

Liked: Location right on Times Square is excellent.
Disliked: Second stay here not nearly as good as first. Much smaller room with very noisy air con. Desk staff quite off - had to wait 1/2 hour past check in time to get into room. Breakfast ok but previous visit offered hot food - sausage bacon eggs etc this time it was all cold fare. Think they’re prioritising the rooftop bar and sushi restaurant clients ahead of hotel guests. Next stay in NYC will be in a different hotel.

Rude women on reception

Disliked: The day before we went home, the shower broke, so we could not use it that day and said it would be the next day and got told due to this we had to leave the room until it was fix. So they said we could have the room till 1. So that morning, we went down to extend the key till 1, but it was a change over of staff, and the women on reception that morning was so rude for 20 minutes, saying we can't due to full booked. We were trying to explain, but we wouldn't listen. Finally, after she looked and could she that someone was supposed to come to fix the shower. She then changed the time but got very snotty, and we shouldn't be doing this even though it wasn't our fault. The handle could not be fixed on a Monday. Then, from 12:30, we were getting phone calls from the women to say you have half an and to see if we need the room. The maids came 2x to see, and the second time came with now bedding and towel. I would not stay here again during the rudeness of the last day and just wanted us out. The staff from Saturday and Sunday, Monday were very nice.
