Royalton New York

This hotel is in the perfect location - very close to all of the action, but quiet enough to feel like you've gotten away. The check in process was quick and easy and when speaking to the staff, we casually mentioned that we were in NYC for one night to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Later that evening, we returned to our room to find a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, compliments of Xander and the Royal! What a lovely, considerate, and unexpected surprise. Next time we stay in NY, we will most definitely be staying at the Royal!

Liked: The location was great
Disliked: The staff member that checked me wasn’t helping at all. She could barely speak English and acted like she didn’t care about me not understanding what she was saying. I asked for directions. Every question I asked left me with more questions afterwards. I walked to the the next check-in station and that lady was more helpful.

Liked: Location great in midtown New York and very reasonably priced. Particular thanks, and if you can pass this on to Neil the coincierge who was incredibly friendly and helpful, told us all about music and politics in New York, looked after our bags and arranged transport. A great ambassador for the city and the hotel.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great location but lacking atmosphere as there is nothing happening in the reception/ foyer area. No bar or restaurant or anything else.
Disliked: There was no hospitality services in the hotel.
