Lovely hotel, perfect location. Would...

Liked: The hotel was so close to Bayswater tube station. There were plenty of places to eat and drink and shops in the same street. The rooms were small but had everything we needed. A comfortable bed, shower, hair dryer, iron, and tea and coffee facilities.
Disliked: The street outside is very loud from very early in the morning. There’s building work going on not far from the hotel and you can hear the banging and clanging from 6am. On the morning we were due to check out we were knocked out of bed at 7:30 by the receptionist as there was a leak through the ceiling from someone’s shower, it wasn’t ours, they were trying to find out where it was coming from.

Good location, lovely staff but...

Liked: A modern aesthetic - good location near Bayswater tube and Hyde park plenty of restaurants/coffee shops etc on doorstep.
Disliked: This stay was for running the London marathon so a good nights sleep was paramount - unfortunately we were kept awake until past 2am from other extremely noisy guests staying in the hotel despite the quiet policy in the hotel - we did go and knock on their door but this didn’t make any difference and resulted in a very poor nights sleep for us ahead of such an important day the next morning. The beds also weren’t very comfortable.

Horrendous, vile smell, disgusting -...

Liked: The location of the hotel is amazing, very easy to get to via tube and is on a main high street with Tesco express etc for convenience.
Disliked: The size of the room was tiny making is quite hard to move around the bed. The main thing was the sewage smell coming from the bathroom - we stayed in room 311 and the smell hit us when walking up the hallway to our room. The member of staff on reception came to our room with febreze and said ‘that’s all I can do’, the smell was so bad it made my partner sick, we were even going to go to the extent of paying £91 to get a taxi home! Although we planned to stay for 2 nights we ended up checking out first thing after the first night as the smell was just horrendous which is a real shame as we were visiting for my birthday celebrations. My advice would be to avoid this hotel, no matter how desperate you are.
