Liked: lovely breakfast and the friendly lady staff
Disliked: there was nothing i did not like all the staff was so very helpful and friendly

Royal Exeter 3 night stay

Liked: Location. Car park. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Room 109. Mustn't have had this room before. Terrible creaking floor boards & creaking bed. Unfortunately, because we are at the age where we get up through the night. We woke the other one up every night due to bed & floor boards.

Superb

Liked: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Bar 1812 is very comfortable, clean with a great selection of drinks
Disliked: Rooms was although clean needs a bit of tlc, on the Friday and Saturday noise from bars either side was loud till gone 4am. But was warned before the stay so I was fully aware.

Liked: Really nice hotel , perfect location
Disliked: Didnt get much sleep as the room was very hot and stuffy , left the window open but the noise from the nightclub (which we were told about) was very loud and was still going at 3.45 am , we have booked to stay again later in the year but on a tuesday and asked if the nightclub would be open then but its not going to be so hopefully will be a better nights sleep

Good for a one-nighter

Liked: Parking is easy and the hotel is located within walking distance of the pier, restaurants and theatres. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The public areas of the hotel are well presented but the rooms are very tired. They are clean but not well appointed (no fridge or aircon). Our room had a small double bed and two single beds (not used). the size of the bed was more problematic than the comfort.We knew that the hotel has a vibrant night club. Not really a problem but, even on the third floor, we could still hear the music in the wee small hours.
