Liked: Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Convenient location. Room was well appointed and comfortable with lovely views. Food was excellent at dinner and breakfast and staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly.Will definitely stay again!

The Roundthorn Country House is...

Liked: The food served for dinner and breakfast was delicious. Locally sourced ingredients and generous helpings on the plate. We were given a room on the first floor which was very well decorated and comfortable. The view from our room extended over the well maintained gardens to the fields, farmlands, forests and distant mountain range. A stunning view.You can even spot the railway at night with the train travelling along the track in the distance. We will definitely stay again when travelling in the area.
Disliked: I have no complaints about this hotel.
