Pleasant and comfortable, but not...

Liked: My partner and I stayed at the Rosewood for two nights before our wedding. When we arrived, the staff that greeted us outside the hotel were friendly and helpful. When checking in, we were provided with information on different amenities. Our room was clean and well presented and we were greeted with a mini cake and note. The dining staff providing room service were very helpful and pleasant. The location of the hotel was very accessible. The summary of costs provided was helpful.
Disliked: For two nights we paid approximately £3000 when including food and valet fees. However, despite being told that we only needed to provide a deposit prior to checking out, a large hold was placed on our account. We would have appreciated more transparency around when payments would be taken. After having room service, we asked for support with cleanup before going to bed before our wedding but we had to wait almost two hours and made three phone calls before anyone attended our room. We also saw trays that had been left outside of other rooms. The coffee machine in our room did not work as intended. We also called to have the valet bring our car for us before leaving, but this was not communicated to the valet staff. We would not normally highlight these aspects but as this is a high end hotel, a very high level of service is expected. We feel the hotel could have done more to make our stay extra special. We have also experienced some issues when it has come to the final billing.

Liked: Our stay at Rosewood London was nothing short of exceptional! First and foremost, the staff were amazing, their service and attentiveness was outstanding. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a gorgeous bar and high quality dining options onsite while the rooms are luxurious and spacious. We could fault nothing during our stay.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like.
