It was ok.

Liked: The location was perfect
Disliked: The towels weren’t the best, they were small, not fluffy and quite stiff. The bathroom was very dated and needed abit of tlc. The breakfast took a while to come out and the table next to us had ordered before us but ours came out before there’s in which they then complained. I had to ask 2 times for the coffee to be filled back up and the milk on the table had curdled when pouring it into my tea- staff said sorry it’s been sat there since 7am and it was 9/9:30am when we had breakfast. This was our first stay and I’m unsure if I’d come back, on leaving the hotel even tried to charge us for drinks when we didn’t even have any drinks from the bar as we were out at a wedding party. We kindly said that wasn’t our bill as we hadn’t had the drinks. The hotel seems to lack attention to detail, maybe we just stayed when it was busy.

Disliked: The fact the hotel ceased trading 3 days before my visit and I look forward to a refund.

Liked: Got an email 11:47am on the day of stay, to say they had gone out of business

Closed without notice

Disliked: When our colleague arrived the hotel was closed with a note saying closed until further notice. This was 10pm due to poor traffic from Scotland. Nothing from booking.com or the hotel. Confirmations from both received by email.
