Richmond Park Hotel

Good value for money. Ok...

Liked: Staff were very helpful and friendly. Easy parking. Clean rooms and bathrooms.
Disliked: Road is noisy. Some mattresses were sagging in the middle and need replaced. Entry door looked like it had been broken into and not been properly repaired.

Comfortable, well located hotel. Friendly...

Disliked: Would be nice if the floorboards in the corridor didn't creak badly! Unfortunately, they extend in to the bedrooms so every time someone walked down the corridor it was like a freight train running through the room. Not so good late at night or early morning!

Liked: It was a great experience and a beautiful place. I enjoyed the location and stay.
Disliked: On that day the hotel parking was closed so a bit of inconvenience

Liked: My room was great!I bit older, but well appointed.The hotel was once very grand!Finding my room was like a treasure hunt, but once you know your way round, it's easy.I got the Sunday roast in the restaurant, which was great!
Disliked: Limited staff, so had to wait at times.

Liked: Clean, plenty of space in the bar areas. Bar staff were friendly and approachable.
Disliked: Rooms had no air con, beds weren’t comfortable. Room had one power socket for everything which wasn’t ideal.

Superb

Fantastic views and great location...

Liked: Room number 1 had fantastic views. Great views and decent sized room with good sized bathroom. Bar staff were really helpful and put together a little meal for my picky poorly toddler off menu which was great.
Disliked: We had an issue with having no hot water on the first night and next morning, I reported this to reception and it was rectified. Mattress wasn’t the cleanest but was comfortable enough. Bathroom could have done with a good deep clean, the plug hole in the bath had lots of black scum come away when lifting and had a lot of hair stuck in it. Randomly the tv would turn over by itself, bit of a shocker when I left my toddler to watch a film whilst I showered and I was met with shouts of ‘mummy, willys and milk milks… willys and milk milks’ after the tv had turned itself onto Naked Attraction, that took a bit of explaining

Liked: All staff members I came across during the stay were friendly and very welcoming Bath and shower was amazing Slept like a baby
Disliked: No coffee machine or fridge in the suite
