Good
Liked: Nice and clean. We didn’t really stay long as we arrived later at night and left first thing. The room was nice and had tall ceilings however it was painted a very depressing darker grey which didn’t give it a great feel. There was also a hole in the floor. It wasn’t noticeable until you walked on it and your foot sunk a little. Overall nice hotel and good value for money.

Frustrating.
Liked: Location to airport.
Disliked: No heat control. The hotel said there heat was controlled by an appliance on managers phone. How dumb is that. The guest has no way to control there on heat. I will not recommend staying here to anyone.

Comfortable with a nice view...
Liked: The room was quiet and could go quite dark. And we did have a nice view as promised. The staff were professional. The bathroom was quite roomy, and some space to store clothes. WIFI was good and TV channels were all there.
Disliked: The beds were not the most comfortable that I have ever slept on. Plus, because they only seem to do double rooms (not twin rooms), my grown son and I had to spend more and book a family room. Furthermore - and this is more and issue with Edinburgh itself - food generally stops around 9pm. We travelled up from London through the day and got delayed. My son is a Vegan (so takeaways are not an option) and we were running 15 minutes late for the 8.30pm kitchen closure time. I rung ahead to see if they could have a vegan burger and chips made before the kitchen closed. I was told that "my life would not be worth living if I asked the kitchen to do that." Why go into the hospitality sector, if you can't just do that tiny bit extra?
