My stay was bearable

Liked: Location. Nice staff.
Disliked: The carpet in the room was not clean and smells, breakfast very poor bad quality of food, restrooms in the breakfast area were dirty, it was a cockroach under our table. The view is not good just in front another building, we were in 32nd floor. So expensive for what it is. Two nights $780 :( I don’t recommend this place. I would never go back there again.

Superb

Liked: The room was spacious and very comfy. Furthermore the location is fantastic for various activities. I can only highly recommend the hotel for a stay in NYC.
Disliked: It would be fantastic to not have to eat breakfast off of paper plates and out of paper cups.

Amazing location, thoughtful staff, overall...

Liked: Location was phenomenal, we used all public transport and walking so this was perfect. I brought my son along and with the two of us we felt very safe and well taken care of. The staff was so kind and thoughtful. Breakfast had great options, the gym looked nice and we sat out on the outdoor seating area which was a great bonus. The room layout was great, felt spacious and more home like than expected. We had the best New York experience in the middle of the city with our view from the 37th floor! Would highly recommend. We found so many great food and scenic areas nearby as well. 9/11 Memorial/Museum, Battery Park to the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and Pier 37 to name a few all walking distance!
Disliked: Not even a big issue to say as a dislike because we sure sat outside and enjoyed the secluded outdoor space, but the furniture on the deck outside could use new cushions but outdoor wear and tear is expected!

I just would not recommend...

Liked: The facility is clean when you first arrive but the room is not cleaned subsequently. I stayed for 3 nights and the room was never cleaned. The bed was comfortable and the guy at reception assisted me well
Disliked: 1. The room was too small2. Breakfast was served in paper plates and cups, cutlery was plastic. Really? For a hotel?3. I booked via booking.com and opted to pay at property so my bank did not approve booking of the funds to the hotel before I checked in. I arrived at the hotel late and when I got there I was told my booking for the first night was cancelled so they rebooked me for that first night and I paid for all the three nights. On check out when I asked for the invoice, I was surprised to see that I was charged USD224 extra which I had initially thought was for incidentals and refundable, it was included as a charge for the room and alll the three nights had different rates and I was told “that’s how hotels work on New York. I feel ripped off because I do not understand that I got to the hotel the same night I had booked, I don’t get why the rate would have moved by over 200 dollars for the night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
