We experienced a wonderful stay while being in town for a concert at the YUM Center. It was close to walk to the concert as well. The hotel was very clean, staff was very nice and the breakfast was very good. The only bad thing was rust dripping off the handrails entering the hot tub - although we did tell a housekeeper and they were going to wipe it down. They're even pet friendly! Great hotel and we would stay again.
Liked: Very nice hotel.
Disliked: Rust on handrails to hot tub.

The hotel staff was very helpful. They had great security. The room was fabulous. I would book a stay there again.
Liked: Downtown, near attractions

Clean rooms and nice staff.
Liked: Rooms were very clean and staff was very helpful. Traveled with 2 adult children and the suite was accommodating for all of us. Price was great considering that there were four of us in the room.
Disliked: Mattress on the pull-out couch was thin and we could feel the coils and frame underneath, so we just slept on the couch (closed up) for the 2nd night. Needed dish soap and a pancake turner.

My favorite hotel in Louisville!...
Liked: Great hotel! I stay here everytime in Louisville. Excellent location and the staff is ALWAYS great! In the times ive been able to get early checkin, late check out, extra parking for family. This trip was a little more expensive as there was a large volleyball tournament as well as disney on ice event. Sometime you get what pay for in a bad way, this was in a GREAT way.
Disliked: if there was one thing...it would be the housekeepers were really loud in the hallways. A lot of slamming doors

Liked: Location was great. Staff was wonderful--particularly Pamela (? I think that was her name) at the front desk, who went above and beyond and completely out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.
Disliked: The room's layout was a little wonky. When we pulled out the couch bed for the kids, there was barely any room around it--it was a very tight squeeze. Hot breakfast was, I'm afraid, pretty awful. Eggs were rubbery, sausage tasteless. Thankfully, there was nice fresh fruit, bread to toast, and yogurt.

Liked: Good breakfast
Disliked: My microwave smelled so bad that as soon as you walked in the room, the odor was overpowering.

Wonderful stay in downtown Louisville
Liked: Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Pam in particular was awesome. We also loved the layout of the room. Bed was super comfortable and kitchen was a nice feature.
Disliked: Sunday morning breakfast was so busy there was inadequate istaff. It was difficult for staff to keep up getting food and beverages out and not one table was wiped down and cleaned between guests which could be a health hazard. You could tell the staff was trying but watching the tables turn up to three times without any cleaning was disturbing.

Overall good experience, wish the...
Liked: The room was nice, it was great to have a kitchen for cooking, it was close enough for us to walk to dinner, the free breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel.
Disliked: The staff was not very attentive, we kept calling the front desk to ask for blankets and were basically ignored. I suspect that's because I had my children call, something I did intentionally with me sitting right there guiding them, because I wanted to show then how to make those kinds of requests at a hotel and build their life skills. Perhaps your staff should consider that just because a child is making a request doesn't mean the request is not a real request. I finally just made the request myself and was basically told I had to wait until they could get around to it because they were busy, like I was inconveniencing them with my request.

Hotel grounds are nice, staff...
Liked: The room was cozy and decorated nicely for a hotel. It had all The amenities one would expect when staying in a hotel.
The pool and hot tub stay open late, that?s a nice bonus.
Disliked: The door to the hotel lobby is locked and you have to have a staff member buzz you in, this took FOREVER. Once inside, there was an issue with our reservation and the front desk associate offered zero help. Instead, she told us that we would have to call the hotels corporate number to have it straightened out. Not sure why she couldn?t call for us, bc once we got through to customer sevice, they needed to speak to her. All in all, it was one of the most unwelcoming hotel experiences. They did give us a discount for the confusion, but it really didn?t ease my discomfort with the situation. The hot tub was incredibly filthy. breakfast was nothing to be excited about. Pretty much all the food was out of stock by 9am.
