Liked: It's an old hotel, but very nice. Great location! Face the water front. Huge room. Walking distance to the central station.
Disliked: The only downside was that we didn't find a good breakfast place close by.

Liked: Terrible internet connection..It was so poor!!I can't say i slept with pillow..Very small bed, couldn't sleep well..

Charming

Liked: It is a very beautiful hotel located next to the Alster Lake with an elegant and old-fashioned vibe. The lobby is beautiful and luxurious with classic design and charm. Our room was a bit old-fashioned but perfectly clean and it had all of the amenities we needed. We really appreciated that there was an EV charger in the underground parking garage. The hotel is within walking distance of the central station and also right next to the street Lange Reihe, a hotspot for restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Our room was facing the courtyard and was very quiet.

Disliked: The building is looking a little tired around the edges, but efforts have clearly been made to upgrade design internally.

Good

Liked: A really nice location right next to the Alster, so you’re directly on the water and can go enjoy your morning coffee or jog right by the water. Close to the city centre but you have to walk through a few not-so-nice locations to get there during the night if there is no transportation. The hotel itself is in a nice area, though. Also very clean and the staff are very friendly.
Disliked: The single rooms are in a separate building (the hotel has a few different building that are either connected by a corridor or through the inner courtyard), which is absolutely okay but they are extremely dark interiorwise and there are not enough light sources in the rooms. So if you plan to do some reading/research on a physical media, you can basically forget it. Also no minifridge.
