Superb

Liked: Stayed here for our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely stay. The food was delicious and well priced, the facilities and the room where both beautiful. We both really enjoyed our stay.

A relaxing and peaceful stay...

Liked: The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The spa facilities were good with sufficient swimming time for children allocated. Great location for visiting Durham and the surrounding areas.The room was super clean and of a high standard. Reception team were very helpful and Amy at the bar was friendly and made our stay comfortable and welcoming. We didn't want to leave!
Disliked: Dinner was nice but a little over priced.

Overall a pleasant experience.

Liked: Value for money, decent facilities and good quality Dinner
Disliked: Too many tables in the thoroughfare to the breakfast buffet which was like sitting in a draughty corridor of people passing. Breakfast quality was not great and the cold options limited. A few areas could do with a refresh.

Enjoyable stay.

Liked: Food Breakfast and Evening meals very good. Bar and reception staff friendly and helpfull.
Disliked: We chose an upgrade and stayed in room 5 at the front of the main building. Lovely room and view across the garden.All was well untill late evening on the Saturday. Please consider your guests and do not place people who are not part of the wedding party in rooms next to the wedding celebrations. The disco was so loud so no sleep till well after midnight.
