Liked: Serious cleaning required. The rug in our (main floor) room had stains. Security part of window was broken. Door between hallway & dining room has lots scratches/gouges.

Liked: Hotel had character and was in a good location.Parking was great
Disliked: Barman in the evening was dismissive and rude - we were polite paying customers, not people who were in the way.Various bits of maintenance not carried out in the hotel - wobbly bathroom tap, broken shower surround, loose door fixings - nothing too difficult to fix but we were surprised this hadn't been kept on top of.Breakfast was disappointing

Excelent location!

Liked: Moreton in Marsh is an excelente location as a hub to visit other towns in the vicinity. The hotel is a complete of blocks away from the train station
Disliked: Carpets at the reception are old and could be replaced to have a better entrance.

Liked: It was close to train and bus stations, and the breakfast choices were good.
Disliked: Our room was too hot. The staff for food were wonderful but they need to hire more people. We really felt bad for the staff running around. They didn’t complain but it was so obvious they needed more help.
