Sarah, Plainfield, visiting Prudential Center Mon, 29 April 2013

Very unhappy customer for this place. My boyfriend and I drove in and the location is a terrible place. The place looked like it was from a horror movie. There was bullet proof glass for the front check in and we had to slide our form of payment and ID's under the glass like we were at a bank. The gentleman at the front couldn't even be understood and the men in the back wore du-rags on their heads. We walked into our room and the place smelled horrible. The jacuzzi was dirty - it had white stuff coming out of the jets. The bathroom floor was disgusting - it was sticky and my shoes stuck to it. The toilet paper wasn't even fresh - it was an already used roll. The sheets didn't even fit the bed and the television wasn't even plugged into anything. The place looked like a place for scum to bring a hooker for the night. Needless to say, my boyfriend and I did not stay the night there. I ended up losing out on $115.00 but we stayed at the Marriott instead, like we should've from the beginning. I guess you get what you pay for. We will never suggest this place to any of our family or friends. This place was a dump and very gross!

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Filthy; dirty; smelly; dirty jacuzzi.

Great price. Comfy room. Bad...

Liked: This was exactly what I payed for. If you stay for a night between travels it?s perfect.
Disliked: The neighborhood is awful. Felt extremely unsafe walking a block to get something to drink.

Liked: I liked the big heart bath, and the bed was comfy!
Disliked: The property was in a scary area and there were police patrolling all over and outside our hotel for awhile last night. I didn?t feel comfortable walking on the carpet without socks, it is extremely dirty here!

Very good

Liked: I've been coming to this location since 1988 it was the called the moter lodge so I know what original and needs updating. The heat is good in the rooms I've had when you get a good room try and keep it you never know what you will get. It in walking distance to the shopping area, and all the restaurants gas stations near buy local library police stations post office all in walking distance mail salons right down the street and delivery service available. I love the second and third late night receptionist they are very helpful and polite I was very comfortable and well rested it's always been my home away from home my little vacation place if you can get a great room.the love seats has a bed inside just to let you know well mind did.the room's has a nice size mini fridge.
Disliked: No microwave in room, breakfast is only waffle and raisin bread and coffee that's it. No access to clean water for the coffee machine In your room unless you get it from the bathroom sink # not. vending machine too expensive, I've only seen one house keeper since I've been here I feel that bathroom can be a little cleaner but I feel it needs better maintenance and repairs but if house keeping doesn't report rust stains in the tub it just looks like shit, step leading to the upper level needs to be replaced, they are very worn out. hall carpet need to be replaced, no signal on quiet a few of the t v channels they have direct TV, and the morning reception is horrible she not very accommodating to guests she gives you what she wants and doesn't care if it fits your needs I think she is very selective to whom she chooses to help the second and 3rd shift receptionists are great kind and helpful . All of the jets weren't working in the hot tub and the water was ice cold they need to have bars around the tub so you can get in and out so be very careful it's very easy to slip and fall but the room is very pretty for taking pictures it looks cozy.

A DOWNER. Not going back.

Liked: No croissants. Check in was through a thick glass, was quick and the lady was OK. No microwave. The room was smelly like humidity. Lots of strange people coming in and out. It felt like a one night stand motel. Very strange people. Won't be going back.
Disliked: Didn't LIKE IT...
