The Spotlight on Red Carpet Inn-Bridgeton/Vineland

Budget-Friendly Comfort Near South Jersey Music Venues

Modern convenience meets small-town charm at the Red Carpet Inn-Bridgeton/Vineland. This no-frills, 2-star hotel is located in Bridgeton, New Jersey, and offers air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and free WiFi. Just 12 miles from the Appel Farm Arts and Music Center, it's a smart pick for music fans seeking a clean, simple place to rest after a show.

With a multilingual front desk team and easy access to local roads, this hotel is a practical base for your concert weekend adventures in South Jersey.

Why Concert-goers love it

Concert-goers appreciate the quiet location after a loud night of live music. While it’s a short drive (about 20 minutes) to Appel Farm and other venues, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with free parking and 24/7 front desk support. Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, giving you time to settle in before an evening show, and check-out isn’t until 11:00 AM—perfect for a slow morning after a late night.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to split a budget stay
  • Solo travelers catching a must-see gig
  • Couples planning a low-key concert weekend
  • Music fans who want a quieter place to recharge
  • Budget-conscious travelers who'd rather spend on tickets than lodging

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant or bar, you’ll find local diners and takeout spots just a short drive away. Bridgeton has a few late-night food options, and there are nearby convenience stores for snacks. No breakfast is served at the hotel, so plan to grab a bite in town or bring your own post-show fuel.

Nightlife Options

The hotel itself is more of a wind-down zone than a nightlife hub, but you’re within reach of local bars and lounges in Bridgeton and Vineland. Want to keep the night going? A quick drive can get you to live music bars or more upbeat scenes before heading back for a good night’s rest.

What People Say

Guests mention the affordable prices and basic but clean rooms as major pluses. Reviewers also note the friendly front desk staff and the ease of parking. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done—especially if you’re in town for a concert and just need a place to crash.

Areas for Improvement

Some travelers mention the décor could use a refresh, and the property is definitely more functional than fashionable. There’s no breakfast or coffee service, so bring your own caffeine fix or head into town. Still, for the price, most guests feel it’s a fair trade.

The Bottom Line

If you’re here for the music and just need a clean, quiet, and affordable place to stay, Red Carpet Inn-Bridgeton/Vineland hits the right notes.

Hotel from Hell

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Everything was horrible. It was a bad experience. The elevator was broken and there was no WiFi. I had to say something because it was getting worse by the minute. The advertisements are beyond false. The room was dirty, crumbs and hair everywhere. Also, the staff at the front desk kept the "Be back in 15 minutes" sign up - I was waiting in the lobby for an hour because the key card didn't work. I asked the people at the front desk - why didn't you say something about the elevator or the WiFi and they said because I didn't ask. The county jail is right down the street. I believe that would have been a better stay - sleeping in my car would have been better. It was just a horrible experience. Two days for $264.70. Please do not go to this hole in the wall; this has to be the worst hotel in America.

Disappointing

Liked: Noisy location on a main, urban street. There was a food truck outside playing insanely loud music into the early morning hours - municipal permits make sense! Filthy building. Pretty disgusting.
