The first impression continues inside the Rectory. Gentile. One feels you are entering a dear friend's home, with staff. The Harrods tableware matches perfectly with the dining rooms. Looking onto a rustic garden with a plethora of song birds and the screech of the resident Buzzard. Black sheep and horses in the paddock. Wonderful friendly staff, happy to help you as best they can. Roger is a wonderful, caring host. Rectory Farm is to be recomended.

Liked: The location on 25 acres of rural landscape is excellent. Electric gates sets the tone. The main house where we stayed with log fires burning really makes you feel at home. Roger the owner is a gentile man that truly does care that your stay is perfect.
Disliked: The breakfasts, although an excellent Continental with fresh fruits and yoghurts and full on Standard English, the time of one hour was a minimum.

Beautiful location.

Liked: Had a lovely stay at Rectory Farm. Happy with the new process of easy booking in, all details as mentioned in email. The room and bathroom were very clean. Beautiful location. We couldn't get in the room until 3pm so used the park and ride which was about a 15-20 minutes walk and takes you to Cambridge centre. Definitely recommend The Rectory Farm
Disliked: Was very hot in the room but we were able to use the isolating fan all night.

Would recommend to others.

Liked: Everything. Room, facilities, walk across the field to a pub for dinner, view outside the room window, etc.... Proximity to P&R for Cambridge also a bonus.

Lovely setting & close to...

Liked: Lovely setting & close to the city centre & walked to the Park & ride and caught the bus into Cambridge which saved time parking in town.
Disliked: The room 02 in house was rather small had to balance breakfast on a very small table, with half on the floor. The breakfast itself thou was lovely & delivered on time as ordered.

Superb

Liked: Superbly appointed manor house with accommodation in comfortable modern and scrupulously clean outbuildings, ideally located for exploring the town centre or further afield.

Comfortable room, convenient location, but...

Liked: Hotel was conveniently located for me for work, and was easy to find with ample car parking.
Disliked: Everything was contactless so I didn't see a single person from the hotel during my stay. The check in and out process was confusing - I couldn't find my room and had to ring for help. The check out key box had been moved so I also struggled to find that. It was very faceless which wasnt pleasant. The wi-fi was sketchy connectivity at best. My room was in the main reception building and was incredibly noisy, you could hear every movement in the building and people were coming and going until around 1am making sleep near-on impossible.
