Lovely short break in a...

Liked: Lovely small hotel in the countryside. Bus stop outside if you didn’t want to take the car into Keswick (15 min journey). Staff were first rate, friendly and attentive. Food was also excellent.
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional

Very welcoming staff, incredible view,...

Liked: The view was fantastic, so much so that we ensured we booked our evening meal at the hotel to enjoy it (this wasn't initially our plan). And we're so glad we did because the food was exceptional (the steak was perfect).The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Bret looked after us from the moment we arrived; we felt incredibly comfortable.
Disliked: The room we booked was quite small, but wasn't a deal-breaker for us.

Comfortable and welcoming hotel, in...

Liked: Location was great with amazing views, the on site parking is a real bonus too. It was lovely to be close to everything but far enough away from the busy areas. Staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, it was a genuinely warm welcome. Breakfast was fantastic, we wanted to make some small changes (swapping fried egg for scrambled and getting extra beans!) there was absolutely no issue with this at all. We sat at a table by the window and could have happily sat there all day just taking in the outstanding views. The residents lounge is really comfortable and well appointed, we’d been out for dinner but enjoyed coffee in there before we went to bed. Our room was a little small, but beautiful, we weren’t bothered about the size, it really didn’t detract from anything. We had absolutely everything we could possibly need. We are already looking at when we can come back. We will be enjoying an evening meal next time we come, the food smelled and looked fantastic!
Disliked: There really wasn’t anything to not like!

Exceptional

Liked: Flipping lives this place. A little gem. We have told others about it and we will def be back when it’s not on a stop off. I can’t remember the chaps name. But he was awesome. Really looking forward to coming back.
Disliked: Nothing. It was bloody mint.
