Located directly on the Atlantic Ocean this Florida resort features 400 feet of private beach and an outdoor pool. The property is also 5.7 mi from Downtown Hollywood and 8.3 mi from Hard Rock Stadium. Each warmly decorated room at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Marco Polo Beach Resort features a wall-mounted 27-inch LCD TV. A fridge and a small table with chairs are provided. Many rooms have a private balcony. The Marco Polo Beach Resort Ramada Plaza by Wyndham offers indoor and outdoor dining facilities. Guests can enjoy tropical drinks at the Poolside Bar & Grill. For a surcharge guests can enjoy the hotel's daily breakfast buffet or order breakfast a la carte. The oceanfront gym offers modern equipment a sauna and steam rooms. A 24-hour business center is on site and the concierge desk can arrange many activities including a beach massage. Aventra Mall is 2.2 mi from the resort while the Miami Beach Convention Center is 11 mi away. Please be advised our swimming pool will be closed from May 8 through September 2023 while we refurbish the pool. In addition the beach access our patio area and pool bar will stay open for business for breakfast and lunch.

I would not tell people to stay here, even though the price was affordable.

Liked: The staff was excellent at all points of interaction - very friendly, helpful and informed.
Disliked: The room was really in poor condition. The bathroom needs a complete overhaul. The light above the table was disconnected. One of the floor lamps did not work. The television was hooked up to an extension cord that was dangling below it in plain view and looked very amateur. The TV also was very difficult to figure out; an instruction card would be helpful. At some point in the evening, the second floor had a flood. When I tried to walk out of my room, I almost tripped over some dirty blankets that were rolled up on themselves immediately outside my door and blocking the hallway leading to the elevator - no one in sight, either. Also, the lobby had overflowing garbage.

It’s was absolutely horrible

Disliked: First of all when we got there to our room air conditioner was not working, second our toilet clogged we had to call multiple times until someone came in and thirdly last day of our stay we saw cockroach crawling on the floor. Its was horrible, horrible, horrible.

This hotel was old dirty...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Dirty floor in the room. Marks and stains on the floor. Bathroom tile was not sealed properly, they used spray paint that was flaking. The shops in the hotel were unorganized and twice the cost of normal stores.

Shocked, stressed, and disappointed

Liked: The beds were very comfortable and the pool and beach were great.
Disliked: The rooms did not have an ocean view. When we arrived, there was a problem in the bathroom toilet had pee in it, the microwave and refrigerator died in our room and they had to change our room. Then we had the same bathroom problem in the new room the next day when we returned. Our key kept turning yellow and we could not get in our room because it was shut off. In the app, we used booking.com, they advertised 3 restaurants on-site. They're more like fast food and nothing that we expected. The cafe was a counter with machine coffee, the pizza parlor is a hole in the wall with tables n chairs in hall. The Ocean Terrace resting is 2 tent -like buildings by pool that are a bar and more like a fast food order. Nothing like depicted in their ad. You had to walk long distances to arrive at any shopping or other eateries. When they did allow extended, check out, But when we returned from coffee, we were locked out of our room with our Huber waiting to go to the airport and our luggage in the room. Miami was great! Our room and hotel not. They offered a mediocre refund of $67.00 for heartache in trip. Not nearly enough for all we went through. It was suppose to be a much needed relaxing trip for health and was extremely stressful due to all the mishaps at the hotel.

I do not recommend this...

Disliked: Floor in my room was disgusting. I had to clean it myself. The white hand towel was completely black when I finished. The flooring was old and had numerous marks and stains. The shower tile apparently needed to be sealed. Instead of doing it correctly they spray painted it and used a different shade of white. The paint was obviously not for showers and was flaking off into the tub. I took the stairs next to my room and ended up in a abandoned part of the building that had no way out. I had to go back up and take the elevator down.I tried to use the oven in my room to cook a pizza. When I turned the oven on it started smoking, I was shocked it did not set off the smoke detectors. The oven was filthy and had some type of cooking spray or oil all over the inside. I was not able to use the oven. The valet staff was some of the worst I have ever dealt with. I had to wait over 30 minutes on two occasions for my vehicle. Every time I picked my vehicle up my mirrors and my seat were changed

I would not stay here...

Liked: The beach was nice.
Disliked: Room was not what we reserved on the first night…they moved us the next day to the oceanfront room. Room was old, furniture was really worn out, bathroom was small and not well maintained, grout very dirty and tiles were loose. Also, the elevators were a nightmare. They only had 2 elevators working and they were ridiculously crowded as well as having to constantly wait for them.
