Ramada Encore Leicester

Had everything I required - toiletries, towels and refreshments; very clean; worth more stars than given and reception very friendly and helpful.

Liked: Everything.
Disliked: Nothing.

Excellent hotel for visiting Morningside Arena. The room was clean but basic and excellent value for the money. The only issue was the noise from outside, which city centre on a Saturday night, should be expected and nothing the hotel can do about it. The Reception did move us to a quieter room without a problem but was still noisy.

Liked: The price for a city centre hotel on a Saturday night was excellent.
Disliked: Nothing that the hotel had control over.

Easy check in and check out. Lovely contemporary rooms, quiet rooms too - no noise from neighbouring rooms. Stylish bar/breakfast area downstairs; friendly staff.

Liked: Clean hotel in every area. Spotless rooms.
Disliked: None.

Exceptional

OK, but could be better

Liked: I liked the location of the hotel to the city centre and the stadium.
Disliked: I hated my room and the way it was equipped. In addition, some of the staff were not very friendly.

Disliked: Rooms were bland , no marmalade at breakfast, fruit juice out of a machine , drinks behind bar that were not listed on cash register

Disliked: Breakfast timings 6:30 to 9:30 am. This is fine if you are staying for business or work, but for leisure a later time would be good.Bed for me whilst ok, was a little too soft for my liking and a newer firmer mattress would be better.

I had low expectations from...

Liked: Stock standard budget breakfast with limited options but coffee was good. Location was excellent for shopping and sights but I’m a regular walker so not bothered by 15 to 30 minute walk. Impressed by streaming TV
Disliked: Fittings were tired and battered and little space to store things so I used ironing board. The desk had gouges and bed had tears
