Easy check in and check out. Lovely contemporary rooms, quiet rooms too - no noise from neighbouring rooms. Stylish bar/breakfast area downstairs; friendly staff.
Liked: Clean hotel in every area. Spotless rooms.

Worst hotel experience of my...
Liked: The mattress was comfortable and the location was good
Disliked: All employees were rude and unwelcoming. Absolutely no smiles from any employee. Problems in our room included a blocked sink and broken lock on bathroom door which was making the door open, this was seen as minor issue by the front desk employee who I believe was a manager there. I then found an orange stain on the pillow, the cleaning staff came to change it but also had no social skills and did not smile and seemed to be angry to be doing their job. I requested a room change because the broken bathroom door was not something that could be overlooked, however this was fought against until the person at reception reluctantly agreed and cut the line abruptly. After changing rooms all we needed was an extra towel as there was only one in the double bedroom room, and we found a handbag behind the sofa which we called the front desk about to take out. That employee then told us to leave the hotel as ?our expectations were too high? even though I repeatedly told him that all I am asking is for someone to remove the handbag that was clearly forgotten by a previous person at the room and for one other towel. He considered this too much and as having high expectations. I could have mentioned the fact there was crumbs on the sofa and dust behind it, clearly showing the cleaners did not clean back there as they would have seen the handbag. He continually told us we could go elsewhere as he has no commitment to us and we booked through bookings.com and not him. After I had to try deescalate the situation as he had no intention of solving the issue for the customer. Lastly the milk for the tea was expired and clotted (health hazard) but after the altercations with the front desk employee I couldn?t bring myself to ask for new milk as he would probably say my expectations were too high. I payed £75 for one night at a supposed 3 star hotel. I wish i had just went to a cheaper 2 star hotel, at least their employees know how to treat customers.
