Fantastic location and staff

Liked: Such a practical location, lovely staff and good food and bar.
Disliked: Was a little bit warm but no fault of the hotel in this hot weather l!

Liked: It's a convenient stopping place when travelling from Scotland to the south of England.
Disliked: Filling the kettle is impossible. Something to hold the door open when moving luggage would be useful.

Liked: Good location as long as you can use slip road onto mill lane which is right next to the hotel. Especially if you are wanting taxis to pick you up and drop off. It would be a nightmare for anyone wishing to explore or visit the area having to access the hotel by having to go on the northbound m6 only to access it! If this was the only option I would advise not to stay as its a right faff!
Disliked: No air conditioning in rooms. Any hot muggy days and you will melt and have a very uncomfortable night's sleep. Cannot open any window wide. We had 1 fan in the room, if it wasn't for that I couldn't have stayed. We booked two rooms and the fan in the other room was rubbish. You felt drained. We had breakfast both mornings and both times, not all the food was ready. Had to reuse glasses, had to ask for bread, croissants, bacon, sausages.....not very good at replenishing the food. Had to wait both mornings for food missing and it wasn't even busy. I don't expect to have to stand there with half a plate of food going cold, waiting for the rest to come out.

Liked: Nothing went well - the hotel refused the room after it had been fully paid for
Disliked: Refused entry to a pregnant lady after room had been fully paid for.
