Ramada by Wyndham Tampa Airport Westshore

I would highly recommend the Ramada Inn at the Tampa Airport location. The front desk to the restaurant personnel were very nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, no complaints. Would definitely return in the future as the location is perfect if flying out or attending an event in town.

Disappointing

Liked: We had a problem with a lost phone and the gentleman at reception was very helpful. Other reception staff were very perfunctory and not welcoming.
Disliked: The hotel needs refurbishing urgently. I don't mind an older hotel, but it does need to be maintained and things fixed - our bathroom door was obviously water damaged and did not close properly. Coffee drip filter pouches didnt fit the machine, or maybe a part was missing.

It was ok.

Liked: The lobby was the best part, updated, well lit, easy go access.
Disliked: I stayed in room 511. To my disappointment, I had to walk from the elevator (positioned in the center of the building), walk through a dark corridor to get to my room, which was unknowingly on the outer perimeter of the building. Going to the microwave and ice machine was the through the opposite corridor to the other side of the building. The microwave was nasty, since someone spilled orange liquid in it. When I returned the next evening, the microwave still was not clean.
