Exceptional - 5.0 out of 5

David, Wilmington, visiting Meymandi Concert Hall Mon, 24 February 2025

First time staying in this hotel and proximity to Meymandi Concert Hall was the reason it was chosen. We think rating should be 4 STARS, not 3. Our room was fine with comfy king bed, fine shower with lots of hot water, good chaise style extra seating for 2-3 people, clean overall with minimal noise heard in adjoining room. Good to have various food venues in hotel including late hours for some. We would recommend this hotel for anyone planning to attend events at Meymandi Concert Hall. We walked from the hotel and also to eat. No need to drive car with parking hassle.

Liked: Convenience of location to Meymandi. Nice to have seating in our room for more than one person; the shower was great and the bed comfy. It should be rated a 4 STAR hotel.
Disliked: No complaints but would suggest adding grab bars around tub or shower space for safety since many more travelers are older and have fall risks.

I will be staying at this hotel every time I visit Raleigh.

Liked: Everything.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Samuel, Stella, visiting Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts

Was overpriced for lack of the above mentioned things but very clean and good location. Hotel guests should not have to pay $30 for valet parking - that is steep when other hotels give parking for free. A very nice stay but disappointing and overpriced.

Liked: Clean room and great location to the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.
Disliked: Chip out of glass in television; no refrigerator; toilet did not flush properly.
