The Spotlight on Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel

Luxury Meets Location in the Heart of London

Modern and elegant, the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel offers a refined 4-star experience just steps from the British Museum and a few minutes' walk to Oxford Street’s buzz. With designer furnishings, marble bathrooms, and rich fabrics, this centrally-located hotel blends style and comfort in one of London’s most dynamic neighborhoods.

Guests enjoy free WiFi, plush Egyptian cotton linens, and premium Noble Isle toiletries—perfect for recharging after a night of live music. With Tottenham Court Road station just 984 feet away, it’s easy to get to and from your concert, no matter the venue.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything—and this hotel nails it. You’re within easy walking or Tube distance to iconic venues like the O2 Academy Islington, Roundhouse, and Soho’s lively music scene. Despite the central location, rooms are known to be peaceful, letting you wind down after the encore. A 15:00 check-in and 11:00 check-out give you a comfortable window for pre- and post-gig relaxation.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends heading out to a gig, with plenty of bars and late-night eats nearby
  • Solo travelers looking for safety, style, and centrality
  • Couples planning a music-filled weekend getaway
  • Fans who want a quieter, more refined recovery space
  • Budget-conscious music lovers looking for luxury perks without five-star prices

Food and Drink Options

Hungry after a show? Scoff & Banter, the on-site restaurant, dishes up comforting Modern European classics like beer-battered fish & chips and shepherd’s pie until late. The bar offers a selection of fine wines and creative cocktails. There’s also 24/7 room service for late-night cravings, and cooked breakfasts are available to help you recover the next morning.

Nightlife Options

You're just a stroll away from vibrant West End nightlife, including Covent Garden pubs, Soho lounges, and Leicester Square’s clubs. Prefer to stay in? The hotel bar is a classy spot for a nightcap featuring local craft drinks in a relaxed setting.

What People Say

Guests rave about the prime location, with many loving how close it is to theatres, music venues, and major Tube lines. The plush rooms and stylish decor also get top marks, as does the friendly and professional service. The hotel’s elegant vibe makes it feel like a treat, even if you’re just staying one night.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that rooms facing the street can catch a bit of city noise, so if you're a light sleeper, request a room facing inward. Bathrooms, while luxurious, can be on the compact side in some rooms.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to London for a concert and want a stylish, central, and quiet place to crash, the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel hits all the right notes.

Awful room totally different to...

Liked: Location is good though a 5-10 minute walk from nearest tube station
Disliked: The room was terrible! Nothing like the photos. A tiny, hot twin room with dirty carpet and damaged door (Room 628). Not even a bedside lamp. The bathroom and shower were too small to even close the shower door. For £246!! We were convinced we'd been given an overnight room for staff. The Radisson Bloomsbury opposite was overbooked by 25 so they seemed to have had priority on the rooms and the hotel was fully booked. The duty manager tried to find an alternative room but there was nothing else available. This was a special occasion absolutely ruined. I've now seen that other reviewers had similar experiences so don't trust the Radisson. And make a strong complaint afterwards if you're not happy. This is not acceptable.

Better than most hotels in...

Liked: The location is good, the breakfast was very nice and overall it was a nice stay.
Disliked: The air conditioning was not working properly and had to complain for 3 days before my room was changed. Some members of the reception were not as attentive as others.

Unlikely to consider this particular...

Liked: Liked the quality and the spread of the breakfast
Disliked: The quality of room in terms of size to charge ratio. Amenities in the room were poor. Very uncomfortable bathroom shower area. Lack of electrical connections near the bed. Overall disappointing.

Great staff, great location but...

Liked: Staff and Location
Disliked: The room was very tired and in need of a refit, shower kept going from freezing cold to boiling hot, wardrobe door didn't fit properly, electrical connector block for the hairdryer cable visible in the draw.
