Did not expect to be...

Liked: Comfortable bed, nice room and bathroom facilities, bar and restaurant staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Physical fighting outside our room in the early hours of the morning, grown men banging against our door, afraid to go out incase we became involved. No staff appeared to intervene.

Pleasant & convenient

Liked: The location is the best feature it is so close to everything in Glasgow and is very convenient. The bed was comfortable as the choice of pillows were good too. The staff always seemed more than willing to help at any time and were extremely polite.
Disliked: A couple of times receptioned seemed unmanned. Although we never did wait too long, i have never experienced having to go into a hotel and wait. The TV's in the rooms need upgrading. The TV guide doesn't work well at all. The cost of food is a little extreme. For example, it was 17 per head for breakfast or if you took a deal, it was 12 per head. I am sorry, i know the country is full of obese people and it probably warrants it but my partner and I are not going to eat 24-34 worth of food. The whetherspoons is straight across the road, we ate breakfast there for 12 and covered us both. I don't know what the solution is here but it needs another option.
