An excellent stay
Liked: The staff make this hotel. They cannot do enough for you, are polite and friendly. We had a problem with air conditioning and within 20 minutes of informing them it was checked and we were moved to another room. At breakfast I wanted mint tea. The young member of staff apologised saying they didn?t have any but 2 minutes later he was back with some having popped to the shops to get some. That is what I call service. All the breakfast staff went out of their way to help and make you feel welcome as did the reception staff. It was good to see most of the staff were Scottish and had a pride in their city and hotel
Disliked: Queen Street Station area is not very pleasant but that is not the hotel?s fault

Liked: The location especially. Very central and not far from most places people would be looking to go to.
Disliked: The shower kept turning itself on/off. We were out all night and came home to a full bath ran by itself. Housekeeping tried the door 3 hours before check out and opened the door. The air conditioning was terrible so the room was extremely warm and uncomfortable. Also we weren't allowed to open the windows even just the slightest amount.

Liked: Friendly staff, well organised breakfast and nice food although not warm enough.
Disliked: This hotel needs an upgrade, disappointed with condition of the room, just shabby. However nothing compared to the hotel parking which was in the nearby NCP car park which was disgusting. Drug users were openly flaunting drug use in the entrance, it stank of urine and was terrifying to walk through, definitely not for anyone on their own. The hotel should NOT be sending guests here.
