The Spotlight on Radisson Blu Edwardian Bond Street Hotel

Elegant Comfort in the Heart of London’s West End

Modern and boutique in feel, the Radisson Blu Edwardian Bond Street Hotel offers a stylish retreat in the heart of central London. Located right on Oxford Street, this hotel is surrounded by designer boutiques, iconic department stores like Selfridges, and the cultural treasures of Marylebone Village. With the newly reopened Bond Street Station directly opposite, getting to and from gigs—even those late finishes—is refreshingly easy.

Expect contemporary design, handcrafted Vispring beds, luxury bathrooms, and a relaxed but upscale vibe that's perfect after a high-energy night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

One of the biggest draws for music lovers is the unbeatable location—just steps from Bond Street Underground Station with direct links to major venues and Heathrow via the Elizabeth Line. The hotel is central enough to walk to numerous West End theatres and live music spots, yet offers a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere for a post-show wind-down. With check-in from 15:00 and check-out at 11:00, there’s enough flexibility to work around your concert plans.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends wanting to stay close to the action
  • Solo travelers catching a bucket-list gig
  • Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
  • Fans seeking a quieter, more refined recovery space
  • Budget-conscious music lovers wanting style without compromising location

Food and Drink Options

The hotel features the inviting Bond St. Lounge Bar, serving Italian small plates and wines—perfect for a bite before or after the show. For something more indulgent, the upstairs Bond St. Tea Rooms offers a British afternoon tea with a modern twist. While 24/7 room service isn’t available, the central location means late-night eateries and fast food options are just a short walk away. Breakfast is available the next morning, even after a late night out.

Nightlife Options

While there’s no on-site live music, the hotel’s elegant lounge bar offers a relaxing space with fine wines and aperitivi. Even better, you’re steps away from some of London’s most vibrant nightlife, with bars, clubs, and live venues in Soho, Mayfair, and Fitzrovia all within easy reach.

What People Say

Guests rave about the prime location for shopping, shows, and transit access. Many reviews highlight the comfortable beds, beautifully designed interiors, and welcoming staff. The stylish décor and upscale yet cozy lounge areas also get frequent praise as perfect for pre- or post-concert relaxation.

Areas for Improvement

The central location does mean it can be a bit busy outside, especially during peak shopping times. Some guests mention that rooms can be on the smaller side, typical for central London hotels—but most agree they’re well-designed and quiet.

The Bottom Line

If you’re headed to a London concert and want boutique comfort, unbeatable access, and a stylish spot to unwind, the Radisson Blu Edwardian Bond Street Hotel hits all the right notes.

Disliked: I was overcharged for my room and I’ve tried to complain but got nowhere. The lift wasn’t working and the rooms were tiny. A rip off to be honest

Bad

Disliked: The was no aircon and no advance warning, even when we dropped our cases in before check in. We couldn't open the windows as we were on the first floor on Oxford Street. The room was far to hot to sleep in. We would not have booked the room had we been made aware of the lack of aircon. When staff said we should have checked other customer reviews I was astonished. I booked the rooms in January in good faith. I was a returning customer and had had a lovely room, with aircon previously. I will not be returning again, nor will I stay in a Radisson again. This is not due to the lack of aircon, but Radisson have chosen not to communicate with their customers about this. In my view this is deceitful and mis-selling. I booked two rooms through Booking.com and I am intending to seek recompense through this channel.

Good location friendly polite staff....

Liked: Warm friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff members.
Disliked: We came during a heat wave and the AC wasn't working, no pre warnings were given. The renovations have been ongoing prior to our visit yet booking.com and Radisson failed to mention this anywhere. The weather was already pre forecasted for a heatwave yet the hotel failed to mention the AC system was not working and hadn't been working for a while. It made the stay/sleep very uncomfortable, more so because I am peri menopausal and it felt like a sauna in the room. Only one small fan was given which did nothing. Couldn't leave the windows open due to the noise outside. The towel rail in the bathroom was on which meant it was hot in the bathroom. When I inquired with the lobby staff they told us the towel rails could not be turned off. The fridge in my room was also not working which meant I wasn't able to have any cold water. I had to ask for a cup of ice. The bathroom looked like it had unfinished work. There were screws drilled in the wall/tile but left uncovered. The bath tub also had not been cleaned properly as it had dirt or some black residue on it. The tap in the bathroom was too low in the bowl, it made it difficult to use. Staff suggested the hotel was fully booked so we couldn't be moved and it was too late to accommodate us elsewhere.Only plus was the hotel did have a welcoming feel and customer service from staff couldn't be faulted. For the price we paid for one night in the current state of the hotel I honestly would've booked elsewhere as I felt cheated and overall frustrated. To date, bookings.com nor Raddison's have any suggestions or warnings on any of their sites letting customers know about the ongoing renovation or AC problems. This is hugely misleading!

Location - yes! Everything else...

Liked: Location is great, right next to Bond Street underground
Disliked: Cleanliness and overall standard of the rooms. Shower spurted everywhere meaning the bathroom floor was soaked every time. No ventilation in the bathroom so unbearably hot even after a lukewarm shower. No air conditioning made rooms incredibly hot and uncomfortable. Very difficult to sleep. Cleanliness is as sub-par. Beds very dusty and crummy around the leather base. Carpet bare in areas.
