Liked: Comfortable bedroom, clean, tray with coffee, tea, milk. Nice breakfast. Very friendly staff ready to help!
Disliked: High stairs to get to the bedrooms.

Short but sweet stay, great...

Liked: Fantastic location just off the city centre with lots around it, friendly staff who were helpful and informative with a great selection on offer for their continental breakfast.
Disliked: Sadly its location being very central means the noise level is a downside.

Very handy for city centre...

Liked: The continental breakfast was lovely, nice variety of food, and lots of tea and toast, lovely to sit by the fire for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room a little tired and the shower didn't work very well. Very little hot water on two mornings, and the shower head kept falling down. Lots of broken tiles on bathroom floor and sticky residue near door. Wardrobe door didn't close. This hotel is in the city centre so can be noisy in the evenings, ear plugs are helpful.

Liked: In a very central location with lots of shops and restaurants around. The hotel and pub had a very cosy vibe and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Great continental breakfast and also a very good cooked breakfast for an additional price.
Disliked: We we're given the compact double which don't get me wrong is lovely, just what you need for 1 night. But for 3 nights with a fair bit of luggage, we found this quite cramped.
