If the room matched the...

Liked: Very friendly welcome, polite and professional. Good parking facilities. Room was spacious and in the main clean.
Disliked: Room needed a make over, there was mould in the shower, not all over, but a large piece in the corner. The bed, two singles together but one was higher than the other, there was no beside lighting on one side of the bed. Cobwebs on the ceiling.

Stress free and efficient lodgings,...

Liked: The check-in and check-out process was very quick and simple. A great location where it's easy to park and relax. Staff were quick to sort out any minor quibbles.
Disliked: The television channels often failed to work properly. We only had a short stay so this didn't matter.

Clean and comfy and good...

Liked: Large an comfortable room. Clean and tidy. Lovely grounds. Friendly staff.
Disliked: I wasn't impressed with the A-la-Carte menu for dinner. Limited choice for my taste. The breakfast was OK. It gave the impression there was a shortage of staff. The hotel is a bit of a warren but it is an old building so that is to be expected.
