Disliked: The hotel could be lovely but needs to close for refurb. Rooms are very tired and beyond cleaning. It took three rooms before we thought to look at the mattress and was shocked at the poor condition. The reception staff were very good as we were frustrated after the third room. We obtained a full refund.

Book somewhere else

Liked: Assistance from kind employee to set up WIFI as the description in the room was incorrect.
Disliked: Hotel is in deplorable state. In the 70's it was most likely a state of the art hotel but those days are clearly gone.Some notes :- spiders and webs at all corners in the room- floor in room was dirty, not vacuumed- Toilet almost not flushing, you have to press very hard and keep it pressed and then some little water is flushing. Takes a few flushes to get the job done...- Bathroom very dim lit- Bathroom door stuck on floor in front of bath tub and you have to close the door to get into bath tube/shower- Soap dispensers empty- Mini shower curtain (half the size of the bath tub length) so bathroom is flooding when you take a shower- Power outlet beside bed is from 1950's, currently used modern UK plug doesn't fit...- Limited continental breakfast which is standing 24/7 in the hall way- Cutlery not clean
