Disliked: Rooms run down, very noisy machine or some kind of unit next to our room. No air con in room.

Liked: For budget priced accommodation it met our requirements
Disliked: The size of the bathroom/toilet was excruciatingly small.

Poor quality and cramped hotel...

Liked: The location was good . The facilities was clean .
Disliked: The bedroom was in the attic . The toilet shower room was cramped. The staff were very quiet and no personality.

Very good

Liked: Great location near Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Very clean. We had a lovely room with high ceilings and a balcony. Blackout curtains included.
Disliked: Three towels were provided for two people, and we were told there was no way to change that because “it’s the setup.” I’m not used to sharing towels with others, so we requested an additional one, which was provided. However, the towels were changed daily (which is nice, but not very environmentally friendly), and after each cleaning, there were only three towels again. During our week-long stay, we had to ask for an extra towel at reception seven times. I’ve never encountered such an absurd fuss over something so simple.

Good budget hotel

Liked: The room was a decent size, good wardrobe with hangers, and iron available upon request at reception.The bathroom had complimentary shampoo and body wash, and clean towels.Coffee and tea making facilities included also.
Disliked: The bathroom was quite small, but it did the job.A replacement mattress would really help, as the bed was not that comfortable, okay for the one night we stayed.

Liked: The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was too small but it fit the purpose. We were able to check in earlier which was really nice and we are very grateful.
Disliked: I think the price was really high for the type of accommodation (very small) and the breakfast was really simple and the bakery was not fresh.

Superb

Liked: Paddington area with lots of live and different restaurant options and close to Hyde park. Easy excess to several public transport options, making it easy to get around in London.
Disliked: Double duvet - but reception was nice to give us an extra blanket

Exceptional

Liked: Fresh cheerful decor. Comfy beds, very clean and fresh. All staff pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: Mini fridge would have been a good enhancement.
