July, Clay Center, visiting Pinewood Bowl Theater
Liked: OK for the price. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing fancy, just average. Outside door wouldn't open with key.

Nice place
Liked: We were very pleased with the room. Ended up with an upgrade, so got a king suite. Very nice.
Disliked: The breakfast are all pretty much the same at motels, but the eggs and sausage are not very good.

Won't stay there again.
Liked: The bed was comfortable. Location was good.
Disliked: What told it has a spa, but it didn't. Had an outside pool and was too cold to swim. Was supposed to be by the pool but it was not. Room had the dirty washcloth hanging in the shower, carpeting was wet. when you stood by the tv it smelled like urine. Didnt get any towels or wash clothes. The bar next to the hotel was very loud playing music.

Very worn down and needs...
Liked: The bed and pillows were comfortable.
Disliked: Very worn down and outdated. Lots of water damage on the walls, ceilings, and baseboards. Mold growing where water damage is. The bed was way too high, but very comfortable. Misc things around hotel falling apart like room signage and floor vents. Breakfast was a joke. Serving prepackaged donuts, granola bars, oatmeal pie, and really small muffins. Waffles came out dry and crusty. One of the keys didn’t work. The employee seemed confused about having reserved two rooms and questioned it even though I had the email confirmation. Was difficult to check-in. Couldn’t understand what he was saying with thick accent. No elevator, even though only 2 floors, it was hard on me carrying luggage upstairs with a recent knee replacement.

Night stay
Liked: Location, breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausages, juice and coffee etc. Good staff.
Disliked: Breakfast stocks almost ran out at 8:30am. Old uneven mattress in the bedroom.

Cat phobic in Nebraska
Liked: Good location. “Pet policy” apparently means dogs. It should say that. Rosie’s restaurant next door is worth a visit.
Disliked: We had a cat. The receptionist gave us a hard time. Finally agreed to accept her—for a price. We were exhausted and the whole thing was rather unpleasant. Oh, and the breakfast was beyond bad. Cold “eggs.” Empty containers. Staff was present—dressed in pajama bottoms, no less.
