Quality Inn & Suites Cincinnati Downtown

All of the staff were very professional and courteous. The location and price can't be beat. The hotel could use a facelift, but, again, because of the price, it was a very positive experience.

Liked: Location - 4 minutes from Cincinnati Shakespeare Company; Price - most reasonably priced hotel in the area.
Disliked: Although it was a non-smoking hotel, someone was clearly smoking on my floor. I could smell it as soon as I got out of the elevator. Fortunately, I didn't smell it in my room. The hotel is rather rundown.

The breakfast was great and the room was very clean. Would stay there again.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Bed was clean but sprayed everything with Lysol.
Disliked: Very old interior; carpets stained in rooms and hallways; bathrooms not updated and dirty; toilet didn't flush well; black hair on towels that was NOT mine; dirty shower curtain and shower and sink had dirty black caulk (room 922). Stayed on Tuesday 8-19-14 to Wed 8-20-14 and looked like we were the only guests. Man at desk was very rude about issues - offered to switch our rooms but I told him of our schedule and said it wasn't feasible. Asked for a discount - he said no and I could just check out. I had 2 young girls with me - will report to Cincinnati BBB.

Liked: Literally had a problem with the first room, but the front desk took care of the problem and switch the rooms, .Breakfast was pretty good considering it was free. Well not free but included. One gentleman was very nice friendly. One young lady was also nice both behind the desk breakfast staff not very friendly headphones in ears . Stayed nights, no room service at all no fresh towels no trash removal.
Disliked: Property needs updating parking. Garage is very sketchy., hotel needs updating , pool area not big at all. Pool was full of bugs.

Disliked: Very loud street traffic noise, lingering smell of cigarettes, and the TV remote was not functioning.

Overpriced 2 star hotel. But...

Liked: Breakfast was pretty good. The 9th floor had a good view of the city. It was quite for the most part.
Disliked: The rooms are overpriced. Room wasn't in the best condition. Decor is outdated . Building and park n lot need a lot of work. Pool was.unable to use. It look like it not well maintained. There was a note referring to covid. Which we thought was strange. Covid ended 3 years ago. It mentioned the room wouldn't be cleaned. So we don't know if those sheets have been on the bed for a month. Overall, the hotel is about an 2 star.

I guess it was worth...

Liked: I love the location close to the TQL stadium. And I love that It was free parking in their parking structure. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK except it seemed like they’re watering down their orange juice in the machine. And not much of a choice of jelly/marmalade. Every time I went for breakfast, it was grape jelly.
Disliked: Water pressure was not very good. Parts of the shower appliances kept falling off. Towels were thin and some were already fraying and they need to be replaced. The room smelled musty. And it seemed like their ice machines on every floor was not working and out of order!
