Quality Inn & Suites Capitola

Calling this Quality Inn is...

Liked: It was tired and dated - never experienced a 2 story hotel without an elevator.
Disliked: There was a large stain on the carpet in the room, the water from the faucet and shower had a bad odor - on check in the clerk was short and neglected to advise us how to get upstairs - no elevator- but outside stairs ??? For over $400 per night !!!!!

Great value in Capitola

Liked: Room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed being able to open the sliding door and get some fresh air. Nice little porch outside with two chairs. Was able to easily walk to the beachfront (20 minutes) from the property.

Overall ok..

Liked: I loved the location! Right down the street from the beach. The room was clean. Easy access to grocery stores and coffee shops.
Disliked: Check in is 3pm. We got to Capitola late, after three so we decided to go down and grab a coffee from a coffee shop above Margaritaville. We went back to the hotel afterwards to check in and the room wasn’t ready but yet when we were leaving 5 minutes after 11 the next morning our room phone was already ringing. The desk clerk wasn’t very friendly. Plus we were on the 2nd floor with our elderly mother who is a risk for falls. Next time, I know to ask for a 1st floor room.

Exceptional

Liked: Close to the beach... comfortable beds...great pillows...awesome shower...breakfast comes with it...cereals... yogurt...you can make your own waffle... that's really cool...oranges...apples juice... coffee... all kinds of good stuff... they have a pool there... quick check-in...friendly staff
Disliked: Can't say one thing that I didn't like about the place

Disliked: Breakfast was very standard. Bagel were missing.
