Terrible & Nasty.

Liked: The front desk attendant was nice, that’s about all we liked.
Disliked: There was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up the steps. Then not to mention the room was absolutely disgusting. There was hair all in the shower like it had not even been cleaned. Crumbs in the bed & DRIED BLOOD on the sheets. The price of the stay was absolutely outrageous for the quality. Housekeeping also kept busting in on us like 2 hours before checkout. Honestly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Very disappointed. I wish I would have taken more pictures because the 2 I did take didn’t even do it justice.

Rooms need maintenance and cleaning

Liked: The staff treat you like you are bothering them. Then my husband got in the shower and the fire alarm is so sensitive that when off because of the steam in the bathroom. Then the i believe manager try to say it was our fault. Noone said to us when we booked that we are not supposed to take hot showers and the bathroom fan was on. So that tell you something is not working right but they're trying to blame the customer. For their failures.

Liked: Belgian waffles were delicious.
Disliked: The facility is old/dated and dirty. Mold present in bathroom. Carpet is filthy. Evidence of dirt and dust all around wall borders. Door handles to room do not operate properly. If you allow door to slam shut, room door will not lock. Because we found out that the door lock was not working and that the door did not pull shut properly, we were made to change our room just as we were on our way out to an important event. That room, too, was dirty and filthy. We left thinking that all the rooms were unclean.

It was ok for what...

Liked: We liked the location of the property to High Point University. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The hotel was ok could have been a little cleaner. Hallways looked like they needed vacuuming. Our room was clean, not sure what detergent they use for the sheets but both my husband and I ended up with an reaction (not sure if it’s from the detergent or a bug bite)
