Negligent staff behaviour

Liked: On a positive note, the beds were clean, and the room was also reasonably tidy. Furthermore, considering the price, the hotel's proximity to the center of Paris was generally very convenient.
Disliked: Upon our 7:00 PM arrival on April 15th, 2025, we were not greeted at all; in fact, we were completely disregarded. Without any acknowledgment, we were simply handed two room keys with the corresponding numbers inscribed on them. Both accommodations reeked intensely of cigarette smoke.The rooms were situated across from one another, and we proceeded to enter the second one. Around 10:30 PM, after hearing sounds emanating from the corridor, we went out to investigate. There, we discovered a lady in a motorized wheelchair awaiting outside our room with her luggage. She indicated to us that she also possessed keys for our assigned room. She explained that she had entered our room and was startled by our sleeping daughter and our personal items. Subsequently, a member of the hotel personnel informed us that we were at fault for being in an incorrect room. We then clarified the circumstances of our situation. Following this, he suggested that we relocate to the other room with our slumbering child, despite the rooms being identical. After a prolonged debate, we managed to persuade the staff to transfer the other guests to another equivalent, smoke-free room. To this point, we have not received any apology.

Disliked: Had a reservation and when arrived they said they were full. Also the woman working at the reception were terribly incompetent, lazy and took 1h30 to find me another hotel. Very bad. Do not recommend this place.
