Liked: It is a beautiful old house with period furnishings and modern conveniences like air conditioning that really kept the place cool on a very hot day. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. I was traveling with my own food, which I was keeping cool with frozen water bottles. They allowed me to use their large freezer in the basement to re-freeze all my water bottles.
Disliked: There was a wonderful old bathtub in my ensuite bathroom. However, I could not figure out how to get the taps to work so that I could have a bath. It appeared to be shower only. What a waste of a bathtub.

Trails End Suite Lake Lodge...

Liked: Great fishing at the Lake! Loved the Lake Lodge and how close to the lake it was. Rustic, romantic Trails end suite. Comfy bed and a perfect honeymoon getaway for avid anglers like us. Well stocked Lake and beautiful nature with the geese, ducks, heron,hawks and various other birds. Owner was honest and nice from the get go so we overlooked some minor inconveniences.
Disliked: No hot water in suite and should of offered a discount for that and construction going on in kitchen area. Did not affect us much though since only a three day stay and we could have showered at main house if we wanted too.
