Liked: It"s hard to do a rating when over Christmas there was no housekeeping, and the place had no water for most of the day on the second day we were there....contacting the hotel during the day was impossible no matter how many calls we tried to make..nobody answered and we just cgot a recording to try later....which we did as well, several times - same result. We were trying to call back to see if the water had been restored....no answer meant a round trip of almost 50 k when answering the phone would have been easier. As it was, we simply stayed away all day and came home late at night...the water was back on. HOwver, we have stayed at the Pomeroy before...and the service and accommodations were great. This was a one-of we hope anyway.
Disliked: Bring able to find out what the status of the water was and not have a bloody recording telling us to call repeatedly...very aggravating. Otherwise, not all that bad.

Well worth it. Would stay...

Liked: The rooms were very large. Had a full kitchen! Stove, oven, a few dishes, dishwasher plenty of storage. Great warm breakfast, great location.
Disliked: The bed was a tiny bit stiff for my preference. The remote would not turn on the TV and then when I turned it on with the buttons on the TV, there was no cable or available programs. Didn’t complain as we were only there for a short bit. Front desk said they would get someone on it when I reported it as we left.

Good place at a good...

Liked: Location was great, and the place was very quiet. It was great to have a separate bedroom.
Disliked: Hallways rugs are dirty and dingy, with a bunch of massive stains. This doesn't really influence the comfort level, but also doesn't add to the appeal of the place.

This is a very comfortable...

Liked: The hotel was fine - and easy to locate. It was a large room and comfortable. It would have been nice to see a second luggage stand in such a large room. The beds were comfortable and very clean. The light in the bathroom was very bright - which is a treat! Often they are not. My partner was happy with his breakfast - and as he uses a walker one of the lovely staff helped him to his table. This hotel could use a carpet cleaning in the halls, but we realize it has many working men using it, and understand it can be difficult to have everything perfect. Over all we were very happy with everything.
Disliked: Unfortunately, of the three lamps in the room there was only one working bulb, so had to do some juggling to have a reading lamp. I did notify the desk on checking out.

It was a means to...

Liked: The breakfast and the pool was the best part about the place.
Disliked: Hallways smelled of rotten dirty carpet, with multiple stains on them. Pillows were like resting your head on a concrete block. When I asked the front desk for more pillows for my daughters for the pull out they didn’t have any.
