Disappointing and exhausting stay.

Liked: This was our third stay because the location is great and it’s very family friendly. We’ve stayed in the ocean view suites all 3 times.
Disliked: Our toilet was cracked in our room, the toilet paper was like sandpaper (we bought our own by day 2) and they provide nothing in the kitchenette-also had to buy paper towels (after we asked for and were given paper napkins) and a sponge and had to borrow silverware and plates from the breakfast room. The staff is so overworked that the cleaning crews were running from room to room still in the evening. Unless you’re on the top floor, expect little sleep because you can hear every footstep above you. Our upstairs neighbors were up before 7:00am and still thumping around at 11:00pm. Our trip was solely for rest and relaxation, which we had little of. We did not have the same experience the two times prior though it seems to be under new ownership/management. When we expressed our disappointment to the manager at check out, we received a string of excuses, followed by attitude. We won’t be back again. There are many other options in Pismo and hopefully, they will value return guests more than the Lighthouse Suites did.
