Our stay was just for...

Liked: Position and accessibility on London Road.
Disliked: A tired property that requires substantial renovation. Our room was clean but an uninviting environment. Cooked breakfast was ok in terms of ingredients but somewhat greasy.

Satisfactory in grand old hotel...

Liked: Parking was good. The room, in the old part of the hotel, was spacious. The old staircase had seen better days but was still grand, with easy risers, and with stained glass windows at the midpoint
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit ordinary. There was no dinner available even though it declared itself as having a restaurant
