I would stay in a...
Liked: The women generally was charming. The home was beautiful.
Disliked: I got a terrible vibe from the man. He didn't seam friendly. I have trouble walking and they wouldn't let me park close to the door, even though the driveway could accommodate many cars. Later , on my last day, my son woke me up to inform me that I could not park in the street in front of their house. So I moved my car to a neighbors street parking. Afterwards I couldn't go back to sleep. This is a very unfriendly place for people with walking difficulties. If you like motorcycles maybe the man would smile and make eye contact. I figured he didn't like me being their.

Relive the 80s
Liked: My stay was ok, but we lucked out an other guests were there only for a short period. Breakfast was great and a highlight overall.
Disliked: The accommodations are inside of an 1980s house, with all the flaws of such houses. Very thin walls, creaky floors, small rooms.

Liked: Nice hosts. Charming decor and cozy beds/rooms. Prettily landscaped grounds. Shared bath but we knew that coming in and it wasn't really a problem when my family and I stayed there. Rooms/facilities were quite clean. Easy access to everywhere you'd want to go in the Philadelphia area (Center City, museums, Sesame Place, King of Prussia Mall, etc.). Amazing value for the location.
Disliked: Room was extremely warm and I couldn't find a way to adjust the temperature; made it hard to sleep. Host's dog didn't seem to like us and persistently yapped at us when we were downstairs (The dog is a shih tzu so it wasn't frightening or anything but it was irritating).

A wonderful, peaceful place to...
Liked: Donna is the perfect host. Our room was homely and made a lovely change from having to stay in a hotel. Breakfast was fantastic; I felt guilty that I don't eat much in a morning, because there was so much to choose from. I would definitely recommend staying at the Pilgrim's Rest.
