Pier 5 Hotel Baltimore

We had a balcony water view room (go for that, you'll be glad you did - price is not too bad for water view w/ balcony) - liked it very much. Great location, a 5 minute walk to the concert at the Baltimore Soundstage. I would definitely stay there again!

Liked: Great location; cute retro decor; friendly front desk staff; good security; clean; two great restaurants connected.
Disliked: None, really. My husband somehow expected a free breakfast in the lobby, but it didn't come with our room deal. I didn't care about that.

Liked: The location was great and is easy to reach with public transportation. Literally at the water and just across the aquarium, some food options for various budgets are close-by. The room, including bathroom, was big and comfy overall. Staff was nice.
Disliked: Overall, the hotel is ageing. Carpet is not nicely laid, the bathtub had rust around the drain, towels were scratchy (I say that as someone who doesn't even use fabric softener at home at all). I wouldn't recommend the breakfast options, it was very barebones (talking instant oatmeal etc). The window is not well soundproofed.

Liked: I love the view and location. The bed was very comfortable but the room can be updated. The rug was really old and night stand needs to be reinstalled. Rm need improvement.
